With the completion this month of a Teacher Training Course in Chantaburi, Thailand, 53 new teachers of Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation will be bringing a fresh new wave of inspiration to their countries.

These new teachers from eight countries—Thailand, Philippines, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Iran, Malaysia, Cambodia, and Taiwan—have studied all aspects of Maharishi's Vedic Science. Steeped in knowledge of Maharishi's Consciousness-Based Education, Vedic Organic Agriculture, Vedic Architecture, and Vedic Health, they are highly qualified to introduce this knowledge to all areas of society. They will explain how Transcendental Meditation enlivens optimum brain functioning and the creative intelligence of students; how to create an impenetrable armour of defence for their nation; how to prevent illness and crime, using the evidence of extensive scientific research and the example of the Invincible America Assembly.

These 53 new teachers will be the bright new gems, the loudspeakers of a new Vedic civilization, whom Maharishi has trained to put any person on the path of enlightenment. Already in Bali there is a full school of 500 students who want to learn Transcendental Meditation when the new teachers return. In the past five decades Maharishi has trained over 40,000 new teachers around the world.
