Up Tour celebrates 50th anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's first visit to France Slideshow

2 May 2011

Practitioners and teachers of the Transcendental Meditation Programme celebrated the 50th anniversary of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's first visit to France during a recent six-city tour.

During the tour, Dr Michael Dillbeck, editor of the new publication Scientific Research on Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme: Collected Papers, Volume 6, discussed scientific research on the technique and an advanced practice, the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying.

Extensive research has shown profound and wide-ranging benefits for mind, body, behaviour, and environment.

Associates of Invincibility Centres throughout the country attended sessions with the Dillbecks and Dominique Lemoine, the National Director of France, that included planning for events and teaching activities, inspirational news in the global organization teaching the Transcendental Meditation Programme (TM) and TM-Sidhis Programme, and discussing experiences during the Transcendental Meditation Programme and TM-Sidhis Programme. Everywhere participants expressed tremendous appreciation of Dr Dillbeck's in-depth explanation of the research studies as reflected in their own experiences and growth of consciousness.

Transcendental Meditation teachers took the opportunity to plan together how best to offer the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in their local areas—offering improved health, increased happiness, greater success, and a better, more harmonious quality of life to the people of France.
