EDAPO is the Economic Development and AIDS Prevention Organization which operates in Kampala, Uganda and provides, food, shelter, education, and basic medical care to children orphaned by the HIV/AIDS epidemic and warfare. About 600 children are under their care. All of the children over age 10 have been instructed in the Transcendental Meditation Technique, as have their caretakers, teachers, and many adults in the community.
