Dr Paul Gelderloos, National Director of Holland for the Global Country of World Peace, recently announced the design for a new Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centre for Holland. The Centre will be located in a beautiful nature reserve in the eastern part of Holland, and will have extensive views of the Maas River. 

Maharishi had introduced the idea that every client coming to the Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centres should have their own treatment room adjoining their personal room, rather than going to a central treatment room. Then the technicians, doctor, or Vaidya (Ayur-Vedic expert), will come to the client in his or her own treatment room. 

Dr Gelderloos commented that more and more clients: 'want to be in a luxurious environment, and more and more people have the wealth to be able to do this'. The new health centre has 31 rooms, with premium accommodations available. 

The entrance to the new building is to the east, with a grand, open, entry hall featuring a ceiling that rises to the top floor of the building in the middle of the Brahmasthan [central silent area of the building]. Dr Gelderloos said that Maharishi emphasized that when building a Maharishi Ayur-Veda Health Centre or Hospital, the patient or client should come in and feel welcomed and completely settled right away. 

Dr Gelderloos explained that the building is constructed with outer panels featuring beautiful arches and windows; these panels are already prepared for wiring etc. 'This is how we can build very quickly, because once these panels are created, we can just place one on top of the other and the effect is spectacular,' Dr Gelderloos said. 

Maharishi had wanted a refined marble dust on the panels so that it would shine; and this is being utilized successfully in other construction, Dr Gelderloos concluded.
