A tribute to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi: Rewriting the history of South Africa in light of Maharishi's coherence-creating programmes for invincibility in South Africa

On 15 November, leaders of the Global Country of World Peace in South Africa—National Director Dr Richard Peycke, and Dr Taddy Blecher, Director of Education and Director of Finance and Planning—paid tribute to the tremendous achievements of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, and gave a comprehensive retrospective of the impact of Maharishi's programmes in South Africa.

Beginning his summary, Dr Peycke said that it was an honour to represent all South Africans in expressing appreciation for what Maharishi has done for their nation. 'People think they understand how the history of this country has unfolded,' he said, 'but in reality the history of South Africa has been shaped by a process of purification of collective consciousness which Maharishi has brought about. Maharishi has brought wave after wave of purifying knowledge and has removed the stress blocking progress. The history of the rise of South Africa needs to be re-written to show how the profound knowledge, masterful teacher-ship, and wise guidance of Maharishi shaped the evolution of this nation.'
