Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja of Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, reported recently that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi had requested permanent Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Courses to be continuing in Latin America.

Raja Luis said that for many years there were no Teachers of Transcendental Meditation in Venezuela. Now a Teacher Training Course has just been completed with 13 new Teachers, as part of the initiative to create invincibility for Venezuela. In this initiative, the new Teachers will be creating Yogic Flyers at a university in Venezuela.

Raja Luis showed slides of the new Teachers with their Course Leaders and the Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme Administrators from whom they learned that programme.

One feature of the course is that the new Teachers will be employed by the Department of Consciousness of a university in Venezuela, and will each be responsible for 1,000 students. Every academic year each Teacher will teach Transcendental Meditation to 1,000 students and prepare them to become Yogic Flyers.

Raja Luis explained that this is the second part of their Teacher Training Course which will make a great contribution to the initiative to create invincibility for Venezuela: they will have been trained and then have employment for teaching and creating 1,000 Yogic Flyers.

The new Teachers have also been taking the special course for educators to prepare them for introducing Consciousness-Based Education into schools.
