Dr Ashley Deans, Ambassador of the Global Country of World Peace for Consciousness-Based Education, recently completed a tour of Lebanon, during which he gave presentations to schools around the country on the educational programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi.

During his country-wide tour, Dr Deans presented to hundreds of educators and thousands of students at 25 of the top schools and universities in the country. 'He spoke brilliantly on the topic of Consciousness-Based Education at the schools he visited,' reported Raja Lucien Mansour, Raja of Lebanon for the Global Country of World Peace, on 20 January 2009, 'and has already convinced many school leaders to adopt the Transcendental Meditation Programme into their curricula.'

Dr Deans reported on the remarkable enthusiasm of his audiences at all presentations—students were eager to learn more and teachers ready to have a Consciousness-Based curriculum immediately. He said there were often packed auditoriums with standing ovations and cheering at the end. (read more)
