Mandap over the area to be the central location of the site of the Maharishi Samadhi Smarak. On 10 February 2008 ceremonies were held here in honour of Maharishi's Mahasamadhi a year ago. The site is located at Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the holy rivers Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati.
