Up UK: Highlights of Maharishi European Sidhaland 30th Anniversary celebration Slideshow

3 September 2010

Maharishi European Sidhaland in Skelmersdale, Lancashire, UK, celebrated its 30th anniversary at the end of August. Raja Peter Warburton, Raja (Administrator) of the United Kingdom for the Global Country of World Peace, spoke about the history of the community and its founding by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi in 1980. Raja Peter and Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country, also gave profound presentations on the Total Knowledge of Natural Law, the knowledge and technologies of Maharishi's Vedic Science.

Raja Peter Warburton explained that the purpose of Maharishi European Sidhaland is two-fold—enlightenment for individuals, which means 'everything that's good, perfect, and uplifting in life for ourselves'—and invincibility, which means the same on the national level: 'Nothing negative in the country, nothing negative can penetrate the nation from outside, and there is everything good for the nation.'

This also means the nation has a positive influence in the world as a whole, Raja Peter continued. He said that ideally they would like to expand the group to 7,000-8,000 Yogic Flyers, because Maharishi had said no nation is an island these days. 'Great Britain may be an island on the geographical level, but no nation is separate from the influence of world consciousness, so to really secure invincibility for the nation, there must be a large enough group to secure global invincibility.

'That is our ultimate target,' Raja Peter said. 'But this weekend, let's immediately resolve to secure national invincibility, and in that stroke secure our own enlightenment.' Raja Peter launched an initiative to increase the Invincibility Assembly participants of Maharishi European Sidhaland to the ideal number of 800.

Raja Peter Warburton revealed that following a conference discussion with the Rajas and Raj Rajeshwaris of Europe, the Invincible Europe Assembly would consist of several venues throughout the continent, such as Seelisberg, Switzerland; Lelystad, and MERU in Holland; and the Golden Dome of Skelmersdale. It was felt the European locations would balance world consciousness between the Invincible America Assembly and the large community in the Brahmasthan of India. (read more)
