Up Kenya: Schools adopting Consciousness-Based Education Slideshow

15 February 2010

Many schools in Kenya are offering the Transcendental Meditation Programme to their students, and other schools are interested in implementing the programme. Following a visit to Kenya by Raja Graham and Leanne de Freitas, they made a report to Raja Robert Wynne, Raja of Invincible Kenya for the Global Country of World Peace.* Raja Graham included visits to Kenyan schools in his tour of schools in Uganda offering Consciousness-Based Education.

Leaders of the programme are meeting with great receptivity in schools across the country, said Raja Wynne. He also said, 'the idea is that, in all these schools, the children will soon be practising not only Transcendental Meditation, but also Yogic Flying. That will transform not only their education, but the whole country', he said, 'through the coherence-creating effects of their group practice of these technologies of consciousness'.

Cities around Kenya are already radiating more coherence and harmony, he said. 'The parents and the communities are beginning to immediately feel the effects of the children learning Transcendental Meditation.'

Raja Wynne commented that the people of Kenya really understand the depth of knowledge offered in the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, and they appreciate the holistic value of Consciousness-Based Education.

'The receptivity of the people, the beauty of the country—it is just magnificent; and we look forward to seeing Kenya rise to invincibility through its schools,' Raja Wynne concluded.

* Raja Wynne's report was featured on the 12 February 2010 Maharishi Global Family Chat, broadcast daily via Internet webcast on the Maharishi Channel, Channel 3. Podcasts of the daily Global Family Chat (audio track) are also now available for automatic download, via an RSS feed.
