6 April 2010 Prevention Wings of the military are being established in several Latin American countries. Soldiers and police officers have begun practising the Transcendental Meditation Programme in groups, and in just the first month, many have reported dramatically reduced stress levels, improved relationships, and other positive experiences and results. Speaking on Maharishi Global Family Chat,* Raja Jose Luis Alvarez, Raja (administrator) of Invincible Latin America for the Global Country of World Peace, reported that virtually all of the participants in the Prevention Wings are satisfied with their practice of Transcendental Meditation and think it is very important in their daily lives. He went on to report further results of an initial evaluation of Prevention Wing participants in Latin American countries, noting that—after only a month of practice—60 per cent feel their levels of stress have been reduced dramatically. Also, 66 per cent report that their relationships at home and at work have improved, and 75 per cent feel that there has been some important positive change in their lives. 'These are the initial results of twice-daily group Transcendental Meditation practice in the lives of Prevention Wing members,' Raja Luis said. He added that these participants will eventually form groups of Yogic Flyers, to create invincibility for their nations. 'The police and military are concerned with the most direct manifestations of lack of invincibility within nations, in terms of security and criminality—so this is very encouraging news to report,' remarked Raja Luis in conclusion.
