The prefrontal cortex is responsible for many different fundamental values including judgment, decision-making, planning, impulse control, moral reasoning, working memory, and the Self. In Consciousness-Based Education, students achieve maximum development of the brain, especially the pre-frontal cortex, likened, as in a company, to being the Chief Executive Officer.
