Raja Vikram Aditya, Raja of Vedic Siam (Thailand) for the Global Country of World Peace, welcomed to Thailand Dr Bevan Morris, Prime Minister of the Global Country of World Peace, during his recent tour in Southeast Asia.*

Dr Morris and Raja Vikram visited Chang Mai in the north of Thailand and then Chanthaburi, the facility in south east Thailand, where a Teacher Training Course for the Transcendental Meditation Programme (TM) was being held.

Over 100 new teachers of Transcendental Meditation have been trained in Chanthaburi over the last five years. The current Teacher Training Course for ladies is administered by the Global Mother Divine Organization. The facility in Chanthaburi is presently the home of the Asian Mother Divine Programme.

The Mother Divine members hosted students—girls from the Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa—who traveled to Chanthaburi for their senior class trip.

While visiting the Teacher Training Course Dr Morris gave great support and inspiration to those attending the course. Participants from many countries were being trained, including the first teachers from Vietnam and Uganda. (read more)
