28 November 2010 The Maharishi Purusha Capital of the Western World is rising rapidly in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia. Raja Bob LoPinto, Raja of the Global Country of World Peace who, under Maharishi's inspiration and guidance, has had responsibility for the project, recently gave a progress report. Three years ago, Raja LoPinto began searching for land. Maharishi Mahesh Yogi had emphasized the importance of an ideal Vastu home for members of the Maharishi Purusha Programme* designed according to Vedic architecture, featuring highest quality facilities, and beautiful, expansive views. As administrators of the world from the silent field of Transcendental Consciousness, Maharishi planned for Purusha to live in a beautiful, comfortable home optimally designed for growth to higher states of consciousness and for raising every nation of the world to peace and invincibility. Seven residential buildings, each with 10 suites, are now in place at the Maharishi Purusha Capital of the Western World in West Virginia, USA. The capital, which will soon be home to 63 members of the Maharishi Purusha Programme, recently enjoyed the visit of Maharaja Adhiraj Rajaraam, honoured by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi as First Ruler of the Global Country of World Peace, who came to see the latest progress in its construction. In addition to the seven residential buildings at the new development in West Virginia, the dining hall will be constructed in January according to a special design with the kitchen placed in the centre of the building, and a dining hall on each side. In this way the meals can be served on both sides simultaneously ensuring maximum freshness. The plan is also to construct course facilities for men and couples to come for extended practice of the Transcendental Meditation Programme in the environment of this unique coherence-creating Purusha group.
