Maharishi Central University at the Brahmasthan* (auspicious central point) of the United States has been quietly taking shape with the dedicated attention of a group of Teachers and practitioners of the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme including Yogic Flyers.

The property, located near Smith Center, Kansas, USA, was surveyed and planned by Dr Eike Hartmann, Minister of Architecture and City Planning of the Global Country of World Peace; and Dr Roger Audet, Surveyor General of the Global Country, who laid out the campus in accordance to the Vastu principles of Maharishi Sthapatya Veda.

Project director Frank Strutner, a graduate of Maharishi University of Management, is the first Yogic Flyer to move to Smith Center. He spoke of the fulfilment gained over the past three years from the supreme vision of this project. Frank said, 'Maharishi Central University is an inspiration to both heart and mind, a worthy home reflecting the majesty of supreme knowledge that is destined to educate the truly elite and powerful leadership of tomorrow.'

With the sweeping vistas of the high prairie in the central plains of America, the tiered campus will give every Peace Palace a clear view of the rising sun and planets.

Each of the campuses will house students from different parts of the US and the world. The current construction is for the first wave of students to come and enjoy the environment and opportunity to gain Total Knowledge through the curriculum of Consciousness-Based Education that Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, the Founder of the Global Country of World Peace, has personally designed.
