April 2009 Educators, government officials, and the public in Cyprus and Albania have shown great receptivity to Consciousness-Based Education over the last few months, during which Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador of the Global Country of World Peace for Consciousness-Based Education, toured universities and schools in these countries. During the tour of Balkan countries, Raja Felix Kaegi and Dr Ashley Deans had two to four meetings every day, all with top level educators: Ministers of Education, deans of universities, principals of schools, and those responsible for higher education. Dr Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education and Executive Director of the Maharishi School in Fairfield, Iowa, USA, 'would point out that modern education has led to many of the problems facing society today,' said Raja Felix, 'and that it is very possible for an individual to end up with less intelligence after finishing his PhD than when he started high school.' Raja Felix is Raja of the Global Country of World Peace for several Balkan countries, including Invincible Albania, and Serbia. Dr Deans presented the need for applying Consciousness-Based Education to overcome the problems of education, and to improve the society in general, through developing the genius of every student. In Cyprus, Raja Paul Potter, Raja of Invincible Cyprus, Dr Deans organized a conference for the public, during which the audience showed great enthusiasm at the prospect of introducing Consciousness-Based Education into their schools. In addition, conference participants were excited that a group of only 100 Yogic Flyers is needed to create invincibility for the nation. (read more) |
