A recent, highly successful conference in Barbados convened by Dr Suresh Chatrani, National Director of the Global Country of World Peace in that country, reviewed the peace-creating technologies of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Founder of the Global Country of World Peace.

Over 50 top leaders of Barbados society attended, including eminent businessmen and government officials. Leading dignitaries included the Minister of Agriculture and the Minister of Education. Participants expressed enthusiastic support for establishment of a Maharishi College of Agriculture in Barbados and for other aspects of Maharishi's programmes for raising coherence in the nation.

The conference was heralded as a great success by everyone who participated. Speakers at the event described it as the most well-organized they had ever attended.

Raja Rogers Badgett, Raja (Administrator) of the Global Country of World Peace for Barbados, said that similar events will now be organized for other countries in the Caribbean, with the support of Dr Chatrani. 'All the islands speak to each other', Raja Rogers said, 'So if one island has a wonderful event, they all hear of it. We hope to inspire the entire Caribbean to implement the programmes of the Global Country of World Peace'.

Raja Rogers thanked the National Director of the Global Country of World Peace in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr David Lee Sheng Tin, who had made a great contribution to organizing the conference.
