The knowledge, principles, and success of Consciousness-Based Education were reverberating throughout the educational system in Turkey during an 11-day period—a result of 20 presentations Dr Ashley Deans, Global Ambassador for Consciousness-Based Education and Executive Director of Maharishi School in Fairfield, Iowa, USA. Dr Deans commented on a new openness and receptivity to Maharishi Mahesh Yogi's knowledge and programmes, in Turkey.

Accompanying Dr Deans on the tour were Raja Paul Potter, Raja of Invincible Turkey, and Dr Albert Baruh, National Director of Turkey for the Global Country of World Peace.

Presentations began at Galatasary University in north Istanbul. It is one of the most prestigious in the Middle East, and Dr Baruh remarked that if Consciousness-Based Education were implemented there, it would be an inspiration for the whole Middle East and other countries as well.

At a private school in Istanbul of about 2,000 students, a presentation on Consciousness-Based Education was made to the Vice Principal and about forty faculty. The teachers were very eager to start Consciousness-Based Education. This school alone would fulfil the requirement to create invincibility for Turkey—850 people practising the Transcendental Meditation and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme, including Yogic Flying, in groups.
