13 August 2009 Dr Ashley Deans, Ambassador of the Global Country of World Peace for Consciousness-Based Education, and Executive Director of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment, reported that his tour of South Korea inspired tremendous interest amongst medical doctors, and students and teachers throughout the country. He said the people of Seoul are very interested in the possibility of creating invincibility through the programmes of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. Dr Deans commented on the strong leadership of local practitioners of Transcendental Meditation. A well-attended education conference held in the city served as a planning session for offering Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation Programme, and Transcendental Meditation Sidhi Programme. They were especially interested in the idea of establishing coherence-creating groups of Yogic Flyers to protect the whole area. Dr Deans reported that school leaders were universally open to all his topics. A top educational leader in South Korea will soon publish a book about meditation in education. Inspired by the visit of Dr Deans, he included approximately 15 pages about the success of Maharishi School of the Age of Enlightenment in Fairfield, Iowa, USA. Earlier in the year Colonel Gunter Chasse, Minister of Defence for Invincible Germany for the Global Country of World Peace presented Maharishi's Invincible Defence to military leaders, military-related persons, and scientists in South Korea. Audiences were keenly interested in principles of Invincibility due to the ongoing political situation in the region. Shortly thereafter the Seoul Times published an article entitled 'A proven solution to counter terrorism'. © Copyright 2010 Global Good News® |
