| 1 September 2012 A family in Canada has successfully employed the four-season gardening method. After building their compost/mulch bed, they simply removed a line of mulch, set the new seeds into the soil, and covered them back up with soil or mulch. They mulch only in spring and autumn to avoid disturbing the soil microclimate. |
